After 30+ years as a
fulltime professional musician, Beth Williams began serving the Central Texas
area as a music teacher in 2002, providing Voice lessons, teaching Yodeling, Creative Songwriting, Movement and Stage
Presence. She also gives guitar lessons and teaches beginning
piano.
Serving students
from 5 years old to 95 in the Texas hill country, including Mason, Brady, LLano,
Doss, San Saba, Junction, Menard, London & Kingsland, Beth believes you're
never too old
or young to pursue your musical passion!
For vocal students, she
teaches a method of passive breathing which enables singers to sing
without tightening or constricting their throat. Using a Mackie PA
System as a tool, Ms. Williams teaches students how to sing into and use
a microphone correctly, which helps improve their performance skills.
She
will help them learn how to work with, and play to, the audience , build up their
stage presence and move with the music they're singing or playing to.
All of this helps to build up confidence, without which, a performer
cannot perform to their greatest capability.
Beth is also able to give lessons on how to set up and tear down a sound
system, as well as share information on where to buy equipment which
would best suit the students needs.
For those interested in booking dates,
Ms. Williams will show students how to put together a promotional
package, get bookings, promote their own shows and even start their own
record label.
Equipped with Pro-Tools 9 in her small
Demo Studio, Beth
has the capability to record clients singing to tracks, or playing their
own instruments. She can add drum tracks, play guitar, piano, bass
and sing harmony where needed!
Beth records her
students using a Manley
Reference Cardioid Microphone and Focusrite ISA 220.
LENGTH OF LESSON
Younger students:
A weekly thirty minute lesson is
recommended. If the student is more advanced, a one hour lesson

Students wanting both guitar and
vocal instruction benefit from a one hour lesson, with thirty minutes
dedicated to guitar and thirty to vocals.
Group Voice Classes:
For praise & worship teams, bands with
singers, home-school groups etc...
PAYMENT METHODS
Due at the time of each lesson, cash or
checks are accepted as payment.
