Had a terrific time July 11 &
12th in San Angelo, TX singing and leading the women of
FLAME INTERNATIONAL
in worship. What a
wonderful
blessing to minister
and share with these precious women, many of whom were waving flags in
praise, which was an awesome thing to watch. I appreciate Sue Evans
telling the core group about my ministry and thank each of the women for
all they shared at the gathering. I believe all of the ladies were touched
with a fresh fire from heaven as we looked toward Jesus and what he's
called each of us to do with our lives.
I so enjoyed Marcia Kendall,
the founder of Flame Fellowship International and the 'Fly Like a Mighty
Eagle Conferences which are held twice a year,
her husband John and
Sandy Angle, the director of San Angelo Flame Fellowship. Not only
was I COMPLETELY blessed, but we had a really fun, fun time! These
women are a hoot!! I loved listening to Marcia share her testimony and
vision...and yodeling with her was great fun!! I look forward to
spending more time with her in the future.
When
I asked Sandy about her "joy", she had me on the floor giggling within 30
seconds! Like I say...it was a fun and fulfilling time and I thank
everyone involved for allowing me to be part of the group.
I
also met a most precious woman named Mary Pickens who invited me to stay
at her house. Such a loving, sweet soul. She was all about
caring and nurturing. We talked allot about nutrition, the
importance of keeping our physical bodies in great shape and she shared
much insight about vitamins, supplements etc. She also let me use
her Chi machine which was a wonderful experience.
Isn't
it amazing how the Lord uses each of us in such a special way?
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others,
faithfully administering God's grace in it's various forms.

Had the awesome pleasure of
serving with Pastor Jim Rose at
Packsaddle Fellowship in Kingsland, Texas
this morning as the visiting worship leader. Met some new friends
and was able to draw closer to some folks I'd met before. Also saw my
precious Pam and sweet Perky!
Pastor Rose spoke on the
Proverbs 31 woman, and, as always, he preaches with such an anointing that
the scriptures seem to leap off the page into my heart. I've read
Proverbs many times, but after this morning, I'm pretty sure God put a
couple of new verses in there since the last time I read it! I don't
ever recall reading "The heart of her husband trusts in her" (v.11) nor do
I remember "....she smiles at her future. She opens her mouth in
wisdom and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue".
(v.25b-26). It
was a wonderful, wonderful sermon and I encourage you to go to the
Packsaddle site and listen to Jim speak.... You will truly be blessed.
PS.....AH HA Moment!!!
Jim Rose was speaking from the New American Standard Translation and I
normally read the NIV, which is why I didn't recall reading those words
before. Guess God didn't add any new verses after all...tee hee.
Jesus Christ...the same yesterday, today and forever. :-)
May our Lord
bless and keep you.
"Thou
wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee.

In Christ's Love,

Amen Amen and Amen
May the
Lord smile on you....
