I was setting up equipment for my "Keeping Time with Beth" program at Westminster Manor, a nursing home in Austin, TX when a lady in a wheelchair sitting next to me suddenly said " I have the same dream every night." I said "Uh-huh" and continued setting equipment up. She persisted & insisted on telling me how she dreamed every night that she was on a train where she would just "sit and ride." And "Sometimes" she said, "There's someone with me." And what does he do, I ask? "He just sits & rides too." Each time I visited the facility after that, she would tell me about the same dream, over and over again.
In reality, her life consisted of being bound to a wheelchair or bed, as she could no longer walk or get around on her own.
I've always believed the "Spirit" on the train with her in the dream was the Holy Spirit, constantly with her, guiding her, and the "train" was the one that would someday take her home to a city of gold where there is no more sickness or sorrow. Blessings to you Pawnee for sharing your dream with me. Ride on girlfriend...ride on.......
