I really wanted to put a yodeling song on my "In This Old House" CD, but the only yodels I knew were cowboy yodels that most yodelers do.  In This Old House producer, Lloyd Maines, ( who I just love), insisted this was an original project, and if I was going to put a yodeling song on the CD, I needed to write my own yodel.  YIKES!!  Jimminy Crickets, I shrieked!!!! ( not really)

I was so worried about not being able to write my own yodel, that I was somehow able to combine yodeling & worrying into one song.  Go figure!   For the record, you really can't yodel and worry at the same time. So if you're a "worrier", take up yodeling!!!  Thanks for the inspiration Lloyd.

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about it's own things.  Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."  Matt. 6:34

"And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."  Philippians 4:19

o-d-i (2:08)
words & music by Beth Williams

o d i d a o d o... o d oughta let worry go
o d i d a o d o. ..o d oughta let worry go

you take life too seriously...
everything is such a big deal
maybe if you listen to me ....
we can lighten up the way you feel
ain't no reason to wear that frown ...
you can feel better if you open your soul
and your mind to a timeless sound

o d i d a o d o - o d oughta let worry go
o d i d a o d o - o d oughta let worry go

lookin' on the dark side
keeps you from seeing the glass half full
there is no other shoe,
no need to push push pull
it's time to relax release ,
return to an upward climb
give yourself to the notion letting go is an ocean,
drink up and you'll be fine.

o d i d a o d o - o d oughta let worry go
o d i d a o d o - o d oughta let worry go
let go let go let go let go let go let go

o d i d a o d o - o d oughta let worry go
o d i d a o d o - o d oughta let worry go
o d i d a o d o - o d oughta let worry go
o d i d a o d o - o d oughta let worry go
